How to Get Started!

You will need to produce good black and white line drawings of the designs that you want made into rubber stamps

To do this; draw an 7-3/4" x 10" border and fill it up with your designs. You can use several small designs or a few large ones, it is your choice. We only need 1/8" of space between the designs and the border. The sizes drawn will be the sizes of the rubber stamps. You will save money by filling up the entire 7-3/4" x 10" area with your designs, in other words the more designs you can fit into this area the less the cost per stamp that you will have.

1. If you will be ordering a new sheet of designs (that we haven't made for you before) there will be a one time fee of $75.00. This is to produce a high quality hard resin plate and matrix board of your designs. The process of making a plate produces the highest quality rubber dies (a die is the impression in rubber, not mounted on a blockmount yet).
   
   
2. If we will be producing the finished stamps, lay a piece of tracing paper or other thin paper over the designs and trace around each design and mark the top of the design with a T (for top). This will help us if we are going to be cutting out the designs, and with the placement of the rubber dies onto the mounts.
   
   
3. Once we have made the plate and produced the matrix board we can now press the rubber into the matrix board to make the rubber dies. We will keep the matrix board on file for you (for repeat orders), or we can send you the matrix board, and you can send it back to us for repeat orders as neccessary.

At this point you have some options;

A) We can do the assembling for you from start to finish, or

B) We can cut the mounts and send you the pieces and parts, or,

C) We can send the 7-3/4" x 10" sheet of rubber to you, (which you would supply the mounting cushion, mounts and indexes).
